That's right, Martha's pregnant! :P
Of course it was going to happen sooner or later, especially since this is a long-term project. I always knew they were going to have children, it predated the Prologue and predated even Kitty being involved in the story (She wasn't originally going to join in The First Jump, it just sort of happened).
Nothing much has happened in this part, particularly because it mostly revolves around them finding out that Martha's pregnant. What else would there be to say about that?
Another things that's happened is that (Finally!) Stephen and Diana are dating! This has been almost as long awaited as Martha/J'onn, and it's been hinted at for awhile. I can't say much about the last part of Glass Roses, because it is leading into something else, and I wouldn't want to spoil it for everyone. I had been planning this in particular to happen for quite awhile, Stephen and Diana saving the Waynes from an untimely fate.
The library being named the Anax (As said in the chapter), is named after Anaxagoras, an ancient Greek philosopher who is regarded as having influenced Socrates and other ancient philosophers.
I know a lot of these are getting to be really short, and I don't quite mean to, it's just that some parts don't have that much to talk about, and it feels really annoying to have to type those words again and again as I post the parts up.
I do want to take a moment to say that I've been working on something, a 'second' in the series this was going to become. It'll be more like a side story, and will predate the Prologue by a number of years. I only bring this up now because after many rewrites (So many rewrites),
I've finally completed a chapter, but I won't start posting it until I've got more of it fleshed out. When I finally do start to post it, I'll put a 'Reading Order' here on my Blogger that will be updated regularly. (I also want to stress that this is optional, it (Probably) won't add anything to the main storyline of the Space Between, but it's a story of other events that are happening around the same time. And because it also includes an origin story that takes places roughly two hundred years prior, I thought that it should be relegated to it's own thing. That, and it's going to have some major time skips, which the main story so far hasn't experienced.
