I had a little more trouble with Exaltation than I did with Descension. I felt like I couldn't pace it right, and the version that I have now is probably the third or fourth edit that I did to it.
A LOT of stuff in this part is setting up for stuff later, so I can't go into very many details about anything particularly, and there isn't much to say that I haven't already said in Descension.
The chapter for Chloe Kneal might be the only Chloe chapter, I can't be entirely sure, but I really liked writing it an it's pretty important, considering that it'll be one of the only chapters done from a villain's perspective. I can give vague information about Chloe, like she doesn't share a last name with either of her sisters, (Atarah, who was the assassin who appeared in The Harbinger of War, doesn't even have one). She also doesn't share a last name with her mother, and her father is currently deceased.
One thing that I have revealed that's pretty major is that these villains are using time travel, which means that we're going to be seeing them for awhile, even after they've died, as their timeline is much different than normal.
